The dreadlocked Myrie was crowned at the Montego Bay Convention Centre in St James Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>First runner-up was Royanne DeSilva and second runner-up Roshelle McKinley.<\/p>\n<p>Myrie, who won the Miss UWI contest in 2012, also mentors youth in Kingston&#8217;s inner-city communities and runs an after-school progamme.<\/p>\n<p>She will represent Jamaica at the Miss World pageant in China in December.<\/p>\n<p>Sectional prizes went to Richelle Parchment (Most Adventurous Contestant) and Krystal Tomlinson (Most Congenial and Beauty in Business).<\/p>\n<p>Roshelle McKinley won for Best Figure, while Shari Jo Robinson walked away with the prize for Best Smile.
