5 year plan:

I intend to pursue post-graduate studies toward professional specialization in either Interventional Cardiology or Obstetrics/Gynecology. Concurrently, I intend to expand our family’s enterprise – Camp to the World – into a national organization, that builds the character, values and socialization of Jamaican youth in the first instance, and ultimately making a regional impact on similar constituents in the Caribbean. The boundaries of my vision are not limited to those living in these territories, but extend to the diaspora, be it as a tourism product and/or an essential component of cultural immersion programmes for the people of the region. Finally, but by no means least, I have every intention of becoming an exemplary wife and mother.

Reasons for entering the contest:

My core values (continuously instilled throughout my upbringing) and increasing capacity to help others – beyond being a medical doctor – have led me down multiple and diverse paths. I believe that the Miss World Organization is a significant platform that provides an opportunity for me to develop my own skills and competencies – via networking, travel and experiential learning – that will undoubtedly enhance my potential to positively impact the lives of others.

Indeed, the mission of the Miss World Organization resonates with my goals and aspirations; and I will humbly accept the honor to make a small contribution to an organization that promotes “Beauty with a Purpose.”
